Feeling Art We. All. Together.   10.05. – 07.09.2025

Feeling Art: We. All. Together.

The exhibition was jointly developed by the Kunsthalle Bremen and an inclusive group of people with and without disabilities founded specifically for this project.  Works by artists with disabilities from the historical collection of the Kunsthalle Bremen will be presented as well as contemporary works of art. Exhibits from the Kunsthalle’s collection are supplemented by loans from regional and international contemporary artists.

The exhibition reflects on the way people with varying approaches acclimatise to the world around them in a linguistic, emotional, social and sensory way. This creates a prolific dialogue surrounding artistic questions, aesthetics and accessibility. Experiencing and shaping art and culture is facilitated regardless of physical, cognitive, social and cultural conditions.

With works from the collection by Mary Cassatt, Lovis Corinth, Edgar Degas, Hendrick Goltzius, Vincent van Gogh, Francisco de Goya, Wolfgang Heimbach, Henri Matisse and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
With loans from Stephanie Baden, Eric Beier, Carl F, Oliver Flügge, Torsten Holzapfel, Christine Sun Kim and Thomas Mader, Sven Kocar, Cornelia Koch, Seo Hye Lee, Zorka Lednárová, Ono Ludwig, Jonas Luksch, Stefanie Rasch, Peter Schloss and Peter Schwartz.

The exhibition invites visitors to experience art with all their senses and get to know different perspectives on the world. There are many opportunities to join in – for everyone!
