Tip
Under German law, membership fees or donations paid to the Kunstverein in Bremen can be deducted as charitable contributions from your personal taxes. For this purpose, the German finance office requires that you submit a simplified donation receipt (Zuwendungsnachweis) along with a bank statement or a confirmation of deposit from your bank. In case of a cash deposit, this form is sufficient proof along with a cash deposit slip from your bank.
